Beautiful place.
The seashell remnants in the sand are smoothed like sea glass. My rock collector loved finding shells there
Ehukai Beach Park is the home of the world famous Banzai Pipeline and probably the most famous surf spot on the North Shore. It’s a long wide beach connected to Sunset Beach. It’s a little hard finding the beach if you’re not familiar with the area. There’s a parking lot or parking along Kamehameha highway. Luckily it was early enough that we found a spot close to the beach path. Bring what you need…and leave nothing behind. It’s a nice beach to explore! The highlight was watching the surfers do their tricks.
A great spot to swim/snorkel with green sea turtles 🐢 as long as you keep 10 foot distance. They have restrooms & outdoor shower to wash off the salt water. Across street from the Macadamia Nut stop. …
Ehukai Beach, also known as Banzai Pipeline, is a famous beach located on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. It is renowned for its incredible surf breaks, particularly during the winter months when large swells come in from the Pacific Ocean. Surfing competitions such as the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing are often held at Ehukai Beach due to its powerful and challenging waves. The beach is also known for its beautiful sandy shore, clear blue waters, and picturesque scenery. However, it's important to note that swimming conditions can be dangerous for inexperienced swimmers, so it's advised to exercise caution and adhere to any warning signs or advice from lifeguards.
Beach was awesome, had a pretty strong current pulling your out when we went.....there is erosion warnings. Along this beach but fun.
Fantastic! Awesome experience to see Pipe Masters on the historic North Shore of Oahu. Friendly people and great location to watch history being made.
'Ehukai Beach Park is a cool place to watch the surfers. We enjoyed walking in the sand, dipping our feet in the warm water, and watching the surfing.
This is one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world, and if you're a surfer, you don't need this review. But if you're just a regular person (with kids) - this beach is fabulous. In peak surf season, there's a sandbar immediately off the parking area that breaks the larger monster waves into smaller waves kids can boogie board on while you watch the surfers.
